Hosted by China National Textile and Apparel Council and jointly organized by Sub-Council of Textile Industry, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, China Textile Information Center and Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd., the grand inauguration of Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics 2006 will be unveiled on October 25-28, 2006 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
Focused and supported by industrial enterprises, Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics has developed into a professional grand event for textile products recognized by the industry as one of the largest scale, highest level, widest coverage of exhibitions, biggest amount of exhibitors and professional visitors as well as best fertility for trading via constant innovation.
Grand Get-together of Exhibitors around the World
Up till now, 2029 exhibitors from 25 countries and regions have confirmed attendance. An exhibition area of 80,500 m2 has been realized, increased by 27.8% compared to that of the last year. There will be 616 overseas exhibitors, among which the form of exhibition groups will be taken by those from Italy, South Korea, Germany, Portugal, Japan, Turkey, Taiwan, Thailand and Pakistan. Enterprises with well performance in Austria, U.S.A., Switzerland and Hong Kong will also strike a pose on the stage. As the R & D capability of domestic product raises continuously, the quality of textile fabrics has been greatly improved with various new patterns introduced one after another. Therefore, domestic enterprises also take advantage of this international fabric event held twice for one year to demonstrate new products and build up enterprise images. At this exhibition, there will be domestic exhibitors from 23 provinces, auto-
nomous regions and municipalities, among which famous enterprises such as Youngor、Jiangsu Sunshine, Shandong Ruyi and Haitian Textile with several years' attendance will continue to participate and the form of exhibition groups will be taken by regional participants and organizations such as Shengze of Jiangsu Province, Xiaohshan of Zhejiang Province, Xiqiao of Guangdong Province and China Bast and Leaf Fibres Textile Association.
Active Participation from Enterprises of Accessories
High-quality accessories can enhance the sense of texture and fashion of garments. It is also an important method to raise the added-value of apparel products. For such reason, the selection of accessories has become critical jetton in the fierce market competition of apparel brand enterprises and garment enterprises at present. It is known that number of accessory exhibitors at this exhibition have increased by 68.4% compared to that of the last one, making the exhibition this year with the largest amount and exhibition area for accessory exhibitors among those of the previous years. Domestic and overseas giants of accessories such as YKK (Japan), Nittobo (Japan), Helsa (Germany), Weixing Co., Ltd., Charms Metal Manufacturer and Xunxing Zipper will gather in Hall W5 of Shanghai New International Expo Centre to present together their products of specialty featuring novel design and prime quality such as liner, shoulder pad, button, zip, thread, belt, scutcheon, clothes rack, lace and embroidery.
Grand Debut of "Demonstration Area for Stylish Accessories"
In order to demonstrate the development and innovation ability of Chinese accessory and adornment enterprises to the world, the exhibition of this year sets a "Demonstration Area for Stylish Accessories" in the center of Hall W5 for focused presentation of excellent products in domestic accessory industry, which will draw great attention from numerous insiders and provide more multiple selection space in rune with the style, texture and color of the apparel for downstream purchasers and designers.
The fabric exhibition has always been an important platform for introduction of fashion trend to domestic enterprises. The fashion trend release zone elaborately arranged has become a must for the fabric exhibition. It is known that fabric fashion trend release zones are set in Hall W1, W2, W4 and E2 respectively besides the "Demonstration Area for Stylish Accessories" set in Hall W5 at this exhibition. These zones will offer 2007/2008 autumn and winter fabric fashion trend release in China and the world, perfectly interpreting both domestic and overseas developments in the fashion world from various aspects such as color and trend.

At Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics 2006, you can not only appreciate the unique charm of various new products, but also listen to valuable information and original opinion of different experts. The organizing committee has 14 forums aboratively arranged with subjects covering various issues focused by industrial enterprises in their development such as law, trade, fabric color in trend and its direction. In addition, Dow Chemical and Fountain Set will also present new product and technology promotion during the exhibition.
Service of Humanity Implemented Effectively
For convenience of visitors, the exhibitors at this exhibition will still be arranged according to their different exhibits. The exhibition area will include cotton, flax, wool, chemical fiber, function, knitting, embroidered lace, accessory and media etc., where a dedicated "Zone of Yarn" is set in Hall W5 with over 70 domestic and overseas exhibitors gathered to effectively enhance the communication and exchange among upstream and downstream industrial chains. Besides, there is a resting area with fine arrangement for relaxation of visitors. The organizing committee hopes this will help the visitors ease up some tiredness for more complete and effective enjoyment of the exhibition.
The reporter also get the information from the organizing committee that 2007 Spring/Summer Fabrics China will be held at Beijing Exhibition Center and China World Trade Center at the same time in order to let more enterprises demonstrate their characteristics at the exhibition, at which time, there will be more excellent enterprises participating with greater space of selection provided for domestic and overseas purchasers attended.
